2014 / Santa Ynez Valley

$ 28.00

We'll be honest, when we first released a small batch of Rosé last summer, we weren't sure what the response would be. By July, we knew we hadn't made enough. Enter the 2014, dry with a refreshing mix of sour and sweet fruit. This lively Rosé keeps the summer vibes going well past the time the sun goes down. If Grenache is our gateway wine, this is our getaway wine, enjoyed best with sand between the toes and charcoal on the grill.

Tasting Notes

Like a fun and flirty fling that we can't get out of our heads. The enchanting floral aromas drew us in, but the burst of sour cherry and pink lemonade made us stay a while. Toss in a cool and refreshing watermelon finish and this has all the makings of an excellent summer.

Winemaking Info

The secret to making great rosé is coolness. Harvested in the cool wee hours of the early morning, we stomped on the grapes and let them chill out on their skins for a few hours longer than before. What we got? An elegant, pale pink rosé that doesn't sacrifice any of its explosive flavors.
