Uproot 2012 Cabernet receives 90pts in Wine Spectator
August 29, 2016
At Uproot we prefer to eschew the traditional rating systems in favor of letting our fans decide for themselves. But we'd be lying if we said we weren't humbled and honored to find out that our 2012 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon received a 90 point rating from Wine Spectator. A big thanks to all of you for helping us get this far!
UPROOT Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2012 Score: 90 | $78
Tense and vibrant, tightly coiled and laced with dusty, gravelly earth and cedary oak notes, this has a solid core of currant and blackberry flavors, imparting a presence of dusty earth and wood, with a dried herb edge. Drink now. 375 cases made.—J.L.
